GORE DENIES ALLEGATIONS : "I AM NEUTRAL"

The Minister for Youth, Religion and Community Delilah Gore has  denied all allegations raised against her by the Oro Governor Gary Juffa.
“I want people to know that my Department has nothing to do with Oro politics and I want to clear our name in this.”

The Sohe Member added that she is not involved in the politics as reported in the media and there were no payments made to the Grand Papua Hotel to her knowledge.
This is after allegations were raised that the Community Development Minister used public department funds to pay for accommodation for Oro council presidents in the aforementioned Hotel.

Mrs Gore also went on to say that she was very concerned about the manner of reporting that the media had portrayed her in with respect to the allegations.

“I am very concerned that I had to find out about such allegations on the news without being called for a response.”

She also said that she was yet to see the evidence of the cheques or cash statements for the Hotel payment in question.
Furthermore, Gore added, “My department is clear in all this and I am not involved in any way contrary to what the Ijivitari Member David Arore has claimed.”

“I am neutral and in this turmoil and political unrest, and I want to state that it is enough, we must put politics aside and focus on what we have been mandated as leaders for.”

Minister Gore further stated that she was not for either the Oro Governor Gary Juffa or the Ijivitari Member David Arore.
“I am not taking any sides in this matter and I am not for either party.”
“At this time, I would rather focus my energies on delivering services to my people, for isn’t that what we are here for to begin with.”
