Barramundis ready for 2 day encounter

The Digicel PNG Barramundis touched down in Alice Springs this week to play their first 2-Day Match of the SACA Premier League against the Northern Territory Strike which started yesterday.
After starting the SACA Premier League on a high with two (2) great performances in the first couple of rounds, the Barramundis dropped their last two matches, to be only one win after four matches.
“We are looking forward to this new challenge and new format in a new environment,” said DIGICEL PNG Barramundis’ Head Coach, Dipak Patel.
“The boys have been training very hard for the last couple of days in Alice Springs and are looking forward to playing 2-Day cricket again. We are obviously taking these matches very seriously, with one eye on the Intercontinental Cup (I-Cup). I am looking forward to seeing how the boys go against the Strike,” said Patel.
After the match against the Strike, the Digicel PNG Barramundis will be travelling to Adelaide for the final leg of the SACA Premier League.
