PNG Hunters down Wynnum Manly Seagulls 24 - 10

The SP PNG Hunters have defeated Wynnum Manly Seagulls 24 - 10 in round two of the Intrust Super Cup match a short while ago. This is the Hunters second win of the season. The first win was against Magpies 36 - 18 last week. 

In the first half, the Hunters scored three unanswered tries to lead 16 - 0.  In the second half, the Seagulls were first to score, however, the ball could find the uprights and they trailed 16 - 4.  The Hunters extended the lead with a penalty goal to 18 - 4 after a foul play from the Seagulls. The Hunters scored another try through Amean to extend the lead to 24 - 4..

The Seagulls fought back with a consolation try to reduce the margin to 24 - 10.   The Hunters won 24 - 10 at full time.

 The Hunters will  return  home  to take on Tweed Head Seagulls at the National Football Stadium next weekend .
