Prime Minister Peter O'Neill's warrant of arrest case adjourned

Prime Minister Peter O'Neill
The Waigani Supreme Court today adjourned a hearing on a Slip Rule Application by Prime Minister Peter O’Neill's lawyers in relation to Justice Ere Kariko’s decision in July last year when he refused the stay application for the warrant of arrest of the Prime Minister.
Following that, the Supreme Court on the 4th of this month, also dismissed Prime Minister’s attempt to stop police from investigating him.
Lawyers representing the PM requested for adjournment as they claim they did not receive a copies of court files from the other party and they needed ample time to prepare for the hearing.
The case was adjourned to the 5th May and the Court ordered for both parties to be prepared on that day with matters that only concern the Slip Rule Application.
