No cooperation in UPNG protest investigations : Police

The man tasked with leading the police investigations into the University Shooting incident that took place between members of the police force and UPNG Students has said the investigation is proving difficult because parties involved are not co-operating with police.

Assistant Police Commissioner for Crimes Victor Isouve revealed that investigations have begun and he has tasked his men on what needs to be done however so far he is still waiting on the University representatives for information and the POM General Hospital has refused to release the medical reports to the police for their consumption and investigation.

In the meantime this news room has confirmed that the injured UPNG students were released without a proper medical report from the POM GEN Hospital in which ACP for Crimes Mr Isouve stated that the if this withholding of information persists he will seek a court order in this regard.
