Hela Provincial assembly to appoint governor

A fresh appointment of the governor for Hela Province will be made at a time and date to be set by the Provincial Assembly for Hela.
The National Court made this ruling today in the light of infighting between parties Francis Potape and Philip Undialu.
No deadline has been set by the Courts for the appointment which will be onus of the Provincial Assembly.
Koroba Lake Kopiago MP Philip Undialu said the decision by the court was fair and said the people of Hela should respect that decision and await the appointment of their new leader.
