Grade 8 Exams begin

Close to 125,000 grade eight students across the country started the National Examinations today.
Their first paper was Written Expression.
Tomorrow students will sit the Mathematics exam.
Others subjects that will be examined are Combined Subjects and Language.
The national exams will run for the whole of this week.
At Port Moresby's St Paul's Primary School, 178 students are sitting the exams.
Upper Primary Section Head, Catherine Kandu says they are hoping for the best from their students.
