Hailing from a mix parentage of Ialibu in Southern Highlands and Chuave in the Chimbu province, 23 years old Kellyanne Limbiye was destined to win the 2016 Ms Pacific Island Pageant PNG as it was noticed from the start of the pageant by those that were present last night at Crown Plaza Hotel for the crowning of the 2016 Miss Pacific Island Pageant PNG.
Kellyanne is currently a final year Political Science student at the University of Papua New Guinea and she was proudly sponsored by the Pacific Assurance Group.
From the Sarong wear category to the Traditionally Inspired Attire & Stage Interview, this young lady had something more to present to the judges and left the judges and audience in awe when she left the stage after each of her performance.
Apart from being crowned as the 2016 Miss Pacific Island Pageant PNG, Kellyanne was also awarded for the best Sarong Wear and Best Talent Performance.
Ms Pacific Assurance Group, Kellyanne Limbiye was humbled to be crowned the Queen for 2016 and she dedicated her win to everyone that helped her to prepare for the Pageant.

“To Abigail Havora and those that have gone before me, I promise to be true and promise to commit myself 100% to this new role that I have taken up” said Kellyanne
Kellyanne’s mum Margret Nareso was in tears when she heard her daughter’s name being called out as the new reigning queen for MPIPP.
She said the crowning came as surprise as Kellyanne gave in her Bio Data late with just a few weeks away from the Pageant but through the hard of the working committee; they were able to cover most of things Kellyanne needed to master before the big day.
Meanwhile the 3rd Runner Up was awarded to Ms Pacific Balanced Fund Melody Laken, Ms ITI Rose Lakoro Pitoi was the 2nd Runner Up and the 1st Runner up was awarded to Ms Queen Emma Chocolates, Lois Ilave.
