Former PNG Army Chief eyes Governor General post

Former PNGDF Commander, Brigadier General Ted Diro feels he is right for the Governor General Position.

In a press conference today, he stated that he is able to overcome all issues of minor physical nature brought about by aging process.
“It is my mental capacity that matters,” he said.
He said the government house must be our fortress of Democracy, a mecca of silent wisdom and an emblem of our history, our legacy and our core values.

He mentioned that if Sir Micheal Ogio the outgoing Governor General is considering another term, he will humbly step down. PNGFM/PNG Today
