Sir Mekere trailing second while Lohia Boe leads Port Moresby North West Open

After the count of Box 30, for Port Moresby North West , an Independent candidate Lohia Boe is leading with 3,612 primary votes.

Following closely is former Prime Mininser Sir Mekere Maurata with 1700 votes. The sitting MP and PNC Party Candidate Michael Malabag is running sixth with 983 votes.  The progressive Tally update after Count 30 at 2:30 am Mon 10th July for Polling Area, Hohola Field are follows.

1. Lohia Boe Samuel - 3,612
2. Sir Mekere Morauta - 1,700
3. Miria Ikupu - 1,589
4. Russel Wavik - 1,416
5. Joseph L Tonde – 1,019
6. Michael Malabag (SITTING MEMBER) – 983
7. Honk Kiap - 506

Meanwhile for th National Capital Regional Seat, incumbent Governor , Powes Parkop is leading with  6, 686 votes.  The progressive Tally update, after Count 63 at 11:00am Mon 10th July, Poll Areas: (Morata 1 & 2).

Meanwhile, counting has come to a halt as scrutineers boycott proceedings due to no show of Presiding officers and assistant presiding officers
