POLICE DISARM SAM KOIM's CLOSE PROTECTION OFFICERS

Chairman of the disbanded Task Force sweep,Sam
Koim has raised concern that he is being followed by some unknown people.
He said this morning, some policemen in truck loads came and disarmed his close protection officers and took them to Boroko Police station.
He said he is yet to know the details but he did talked to the National Capital District Acting Metropolitan Superintendent Perou N'Dranou.
NBC news just spoke to Perou N'Dranou, and confirm the incident, but the Medsup says he will not comment further as this is an internal matter and is subjected to through investigation.
Koim said coincidentally, as he was driving out of his home, he saw two unmarked land cruisers parked and some young men of a particular ethnic group taking snapshots of his car using their cellphones.
Sam Koim said he does not understand why he is being followed by policemen and unknown people like this, and says if it relates to the current political issues which are still in court, then he said he is ready to face them.
Koim adds, he is prepared to be locked up in cells for standing up for the rule of law and the country.
