"The New Enga Provincial Hospital, which has seen years in the planning and design phases, is a signature provincial hospital,” Said Dr. Samson Amean, Provincial Administrator of the Enga Provincial Government.

“This development project of the Government of PNG, under the capable leadership of Prime Minister O’Neill, in partnership with the Enga Provincial Government under the gifted leadership of Governor Sir Peter, will serve the people of Engagement well.
"This crucial life-saving project transcends political differences, tribal cultures and provincial boundaries within PNG.

"With this in mind, the EPG has reached out to and specifically invited all 6 MPs from Enga Province, Governors of all Highlands provinces and key Ministers and relevant departmental heads and other GoPNG delegates, representatives from churches, local communities, civil society and the business sector to attend and participate in this special event.
“With a total estimated project cost of US$162 million (K527 million), the Government of Papua New Guinea is grateful to the Government of China for agreeing to provide concessional funding.
"This is through the Export Import Bank of China, with counterpart funding being provided by the Government of Papua New Guinea." PM's Media
