Brisbane airport reopens after car scare
FLIGHTS have resumed at Brisbane airport after a bizarre security breach in which a woman drove through a perimeter fence and onto the tarmac.
ALL flights in and out were suspended after the incident about 10pm on Tuesday. The airport was reopened about 11.30pm and the 37-year-old woman was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital. Just what caused the drama remains unclear and investigations continue.
