KUA CHALLENGED VAKI TO ARREST PRIME MINISTER PETER O'NEILL
Former Attorney-General and Sinasina Yongomugl M-P, Kerenga Kua, is challenging the Police Commissioner to arrest the Prime Minister.
He said, Police Commissioner Geoffrey Vaki, has no other discretion left, but to execute arrest.
Kua said this during a news conference in Port Moresby this morning, as Maivo Lafanama, reports.
Mr Kua, a lawyer himself said its clear from court rulings handed down by the National and District court last week there is no question whether O'Neill can be arrested or Not.
He said Mr O'Neill and the commissioner are misleading the nation and Police Force into believing the Commissioner has discretion.
He said they have deliberately misinterpret Justice Ere Kariko's judgment last Tuesday.
He said what the judge left for them to inference is that if the commissioner chose not to execute the warrant he will be in more trouble himself.
Kua said that is contempt of court.
