Games Organising Committee issues warning on fake tickets
The Games Organising Committee is aware that there may be unscrupulous people before and during Games time that will try to sell counterfeit tickets.
Firstly, the GOC encourages all fans, supporters and spectators to the upcoming Games to buy your tickets from the authorized dealers.
These dealers include the selected BSP branches nationwide, all the Stop N Shop stores in Port Moresby and the Post PNG outlets at Waterfront and Vision City.
The genuine Games ticket itself has a high-end security feature on it that makes it very difficult to duplicate. It will be detected immediately at the gates if fake.
Furthermore, those found selling counterfeit tickets or in possession of a fake ticket will be charged by Police.
