PNG Hunters jump to third place on the Intrust Super Cup ladder

The Papua New Guinea Hunters are now on third place  on the Intrust Super Cup ladder after their hard fought 32 - 24 win over the Tweed Heads Seagulls over the weekend. And also this has come about after the Burleigh Bears beat the Wynnum Manly Seagulls 25 - 24 who were equally placed with points with the Hunters but place third with better point difference.  The Townsville Blackhawks maintain the top position with good win over the Northern Pride 42 - 24. The Ipswich Jets are on second place after thrashing Central Queensland Capras 52 - 6 over the weekend. 

The schedule for next fives rounds  are: 

Round 16 : Hunters take on Central Queensland Capras  ( Kokopo)

Round 17:  Hunters travel to Australia to  take on Redcliffe Dolphines  ( Dolphine Park)

Round 18 : Bye (Some players will participate in the Pacific Games)

Round 19:  Hunters to take on Sunshine Coast Falcons    ( Kokopo)

Round 20: Top of the table clash , Hunters to take on  Townsville Blackhawk  (Port Moresby, venue yet to confirm)
