Nene McDonald to represent PNG in Rugby League World All Stars
WORLD All Stars coach Wayne Bennett has named his side to take on the Indigenous All Stars.
The match will be played at Suncorp Stadium
The World All Stars team replaces the NRL All Stars and features a minimum of four players each from Australia, New Zealand and England, while the remaining players are made up from other nations such as Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and PNG.
The move follows a review of the annual All Stars match, which has been part of the rugby league calendar since 2010.
“The extended option to pick a World All Stars team means our fans will get the chance to see two high quality teams in the 2016 event,” Bennett said.
“It is a new challenge for these guys to be playing alongside each other rather than against and one that I am sure they will relish.”
