Women on the move to hold protest on Police brutality
Women throughout Papua New Guinea have raised concerns on violence and abuse of women through Police brutality. Now they will be taking a stand against Police abuse and brutality through a well organised peaceful protest early next year.
Their focus will be on ensuring action and progress is made not only on investigations but also on rogue police officers involved in these illegal acts against the right of WOMEN and the public in general.
A series of meets have taken place towards this cause and these women have vowed to SPEAK OUT and AGAINST such acts with ONE VOICE.
They say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and these cases of inhuman acts must stop.
The planned protest is planned for Port Moresby and may extend to other centers in the country.
