PM O'Neill's PNC party candiddate ,Gordon Wesley wins Samarai - Murua by - election

Prime Minister Peter O'Neill's Peoples Natioinal Congress Party candidate  Gordon Wesley has retained his seat in the Samarai Murua by-electorate after after securing a clear win with 9725 votes in the by-election ahead of his rival and Pangu candidate Isi Henry Leonard as runner up with 5226.

He was formally declared member at the counting venue at Cameron Secondary School at around 6:30pm in the afternoon. PNGFM/PNG Today
