PNG Hunters name extended squad for Round 15 against Manly Seagulls
The Papua New Guinea SP Hunters have announced extended squad for round 15 match against Wynnum Manly Seagulls at the National Football Stadium in Port Moresby on Sunday afternoon
Hunters Coach Michael Marum has included several players including Adex Wera after few players were put on report last week in the match against South Logan Magpies. Marum said players put on report following Saturday’s miracle 22-20 win over South Logan Magpies have not been cited by the Queensland Rugby League judiciary board as of yesterday afternoon. “I just got word that the match video arrived late in Brisbane and the review is currently being carried out,” said Marum. “I should be getting an answer later tonight (last night),” he added. The players being put on report are Warren Glare and Ase Boas for dangerous throw.
The 20 man team: Bland Abavu (full-back), Justin Olam (wing), Noel Zeming (left-centre) Thompson Teteh (right-centre), Philemon Kimisive (wing), Ase Boas (half-back), Watson Boas (five-eighth), Henry Wan (prop), Wartovo Puara Jnr (hooker) Esau Siune (prop), Ismael Balkawa (second-row) Adam Korave (second-row) Brandy Peter (lock) Interchange: Warren Glare, Atte Bina Wabo, Enoch Maki, Tuvi Lepan, Nickson Borana, Adex Wera, Benjamin Hetra. Wynnum Manly arrive in Port Moresby on Saturday for the Sunday game at the National Football Stadium at 3pm.
