PNG Hunters jumped to third on the Intrust Cup ladder
The SP Papua New Guinea Hunters are placed third on the Intrust Super Cup ladder after their impressive win over the Tweed Heads Seagulls over the weekend. The Burleigh Bears top the ladder with 27 points. The Redcliffe Dophins and PNG Hunters share 24 points apiece but Redcliffe has advantages on point difference and secures the second spot while the Hunters are on third spot. Followed closely are Townsville Blackhawks and East Tigers on 23 points apiece .
The Hunters will have a bye in round 18. They will then returned to Australia to take on the second placed Redcliffe Dolphins in round 19. The Hunters will return home in round 20 to take on the East Tigers at the National Football stadium.
