Charles Abel Resigns from PNC Party and Joins Our Development Party

Alotau MP and caretaker Minister Charles Abel in the Pangu-led government just announced his resignation from PNC party to join Abau MP Sir Puka Temu's Our Development Party.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the caretaker Cabinet at the Government House, Mr Abel said he had already notified his former party's caucas meeting last night about his intention.

He claimed that ODP has six MPs.

Sir Puka has welcomed him to his party.
