Basil's United Labour Party numbers increase to 10 as more MPs join
Kagua-Erave MP Wesley Ramina and North Waghi MP have unplugged their political association with Hagen MP William Duma's United Resources Party and joined Sam Basil's new United Labour Party.
Basil is PNG's National Planning and Monitoring Minister.
Their party switching has boosted the numerical strength of the new party to ten excluding Menyamya MP Thomas Pelika who passed away due to illness at Lae's Angau General Hospital last week.
They include Rigo MP Lekwa Gure, Sumkar MP Chris Nangor, Markham's Koni Iguan; Raicoast's Peter Sapia, Lufa- Moriape Kavori, Nawaeb's Kennedy Wenge; Dr Fabian Pok North Waghi, Wesley Ramina- Kagua Erave and the party leader Sam Basil himself.
