Johnson, Russel to debut for PNG Kumuls in Pacific Test against Fiji Bati
South Sydney Rabbitohs Alex Johnston and North Queensland Cowboys Daniel Russell are set to debut as PNG LNG Kumul Nos. 294 and 295 respectively in this Saturday’s 2nd Pool B Oceania Cup Pacific Test against Fiji Bati in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Edene Gebbie, Terry Wapi and Kyle Laybutt who made their debuts against Samoa in Sydney in June this year have also been named in the starting line-up.
Edwin Ipape, Stargroth Amean, Stanford Talita and Garry Lo are on the extended bench. Rhyse Martin will captain the side.
