PNG Chief Justice lays complaint against Police Minister Bryan Kramer
Sir Gibbs Salika has laid a formal complaint against Papua New Guinea Police Minister Hon. Bryan Kramer.
Salika has written to acting Police Commissioner, David Manning on 11th November to formally lodged the complaint.
'My complaint is that he posted articles on his Facebook page account relating to my role in referring a matter for Mirivi.J to deal with in relation to an application for interim stay on a warrant of arrest by the Waigani District Court to arrest the Honourable Peter O'Neill'
'His article on Facebook Page is inciting trouble or tending to cause trouble or ill-feeling among people'
Chief Justice is requesting that Police investigate and and lay appropriate charges under s.11 of the Summary Offences Act and also possibility of the Cyber Crime Act.
