PNG Public Servants legitimate pays still intact, says PM Marape
Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape says that Government is not irresponsible to deduct public servant and teachers salaries and dispels speculations by opposition as irresponsible as we try to tidy on weaknesses in our system of government.
“No legitimately secured awards to teachers or proper salaries will be deducted as that is our workers entitlements. We only concern about duplicity, unlawful wastage and lack of productivity in our public services that we will tidy but that has nothing to do with cutting their legitimate pays or secured industrial increases.” PM Marape says.
“May I assure our teachers and real public servants at work , there is no intention to dilute or reduce your due benefits. This are rumours spread by many of my sore opponents”. PM Marape says.
