PNG Solidifies Relationship with Thailand

Papua New Guinea government is looking at strengthening a Strong Trade and Investment Relationship with Thailand for a change in the country.

Minister for International Trade and Investment, Richard Maru says Thailand investors can help PNG develop its vast agriculture, fisheries, and manufacturing industries to world-class standards.

Minister for International Trade and Investment, Richard Maru revealed these when providing a brief to the media about the Ministry’s trip to Thailand recently.

Minister Maru says the relationship will be a game changer for Papua New Guinea.

Mr. Maru envisions that if PNG follows the same part as Thailand, the country’s economy can be transformed in 20 years’ time.

The Minister for International Trade and Investment is inspired and has no doubt about cementing the relationship with Thailand, the greatest contribution of the Marape/Rosso Government to secure a brighter and better future for PNG
