PNG Hunters maintain second spot on the Intrust Super Cup ladder

The Papua New Guinea SP Hunters maintain second position with 16 competition points on the Intrust Super Cup ladder after round 10.  They are just a point behind competition front runners Townsville Blackhawks who are leading with  17 points.  The Blackhawks  defeated Central Queensland Capras  36 - 16 over the weekend to maintain the top spot The Hunters were on bye this week and collected two easy points.

In other matches played over the weekend, Townsville Blackhawks down Central Queensland Capras 34 - 16, Burleigh Bears shot down Ipswich Jets 30 - 18,  Northern Pride down Redcliffe Dolphins 20 - 16, Tweed Head Seagulls held off Sunshine Coast Seagulls 22 - 16, South Logan Magpies mauled Norths Devil 42 - 20,  Wynnum Manly Seagulls thrashed Mackay Cutters 62 - 16 while PNG Hunters and East Tigers were on bye.
