The fast food and high sugary fat intake lifestyle is causing health problems for people.

One such lifestyle disease that is fast becoming an epidemic among the womenfolk in Papua New Guinean is Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD).
According to the Senior Obstetrician and Gynecologist of Pacific International Hospital Dr James Sapuri, he operates two to three cases of PCOD each week and this is a concern.

Dr Sapuri says a high diet of sugar and carbohydrates gives rise to these ovarian complications that most times is asymptomatic or does not show any symptom until it is serious.
