Walter Schnaubelt unseats PNG Mining Minister Byron Chan

Walter Schnaubelt wins Namatanai Open 

Papua New Guinea Mining Mininster Byron Chan has lost his seat to National Alliance Walter Schnaubelt  in the Namatanai Open seat.  Mr. Walter Schnaubelt National alliance Party President declared was declared  the Member for Namatanai by returning officer Benjamin kliawi.

At 1:24 pm, the RO declaraed that Walter Schnaubelt had reached passed the absolute majority of 17 166.
Schnaubelt won with 20474 outsitting the sitting member for 15 years Byron Chan who came 2nd with 12799.
