Governor Juffa praise government for prompt response

Northern Governor, Gary Juffa, has thanked the Government for its prompt response to the flood-stricken province.

Prime Minister Peter O'Neill on be half of the government has made available five million kina to assist the province in its current situation.

Governor Juffa when thanking the prime minister on be half of the people of Oro has emphasize the need for prudent management of public funds.

Juffa says the visitation by the prime minister during this difficult time demonstrate true leadership and he also acknowledge the presence of other ministers and government officials in the province.

The Prime minister visited Oro this morning with his delegation which includes Minister for Health, Michael Malabag, Forests minister Patrick Pruaitch, Chief Secretary Manasupe Zurenouc.

They were escorted by the three Oro members including the Governor himself, member for Ijivitari, David Arore and Sohe MP Delaila Gore. NBC
