PNG begin East Asia Pacific Twenty 20 cricket championship by thrashing Vanuatu

The East Asia Pacific Twenty 20 cricket championship has begun in New Zealand, with defending champions Papua New Guinea making a winning start in the seven-nation tournament.
After a commanding win over Indonesia on Monday morning, PNG's batsmen continued their impressive form against Vanuatu at Auckland's Waika-Raka Park, where they smashed 7 for 199 from their 20 overs.
Vanuatu's batsmen couldn't keep pace with the challenging 10 runs an over needed for victory.
PNG secured a 30 run victory, and their third win from as many matches.
