NAMAH WELCOMES LAWSUIT

The Leader of the Opposition Hon. Belden Namah welcomes the lawsuit on defamation against him by Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.
Mr Namah said he will not be intimidated by the lawsuit and said that the people of Papua New Guinea must know that this lawsuit levelled against him, is a diversion of exposing high level corruption in our country.
Hon. Belden Namah also urged PM Peter O’Neill to remove the defendants named in the writs namely; Scott Waide and John Eggins who are innocent and were only doing their jobs in reporting what the Opposition Leader said.
He reiterated that the issue was between him and Peter O’Neill only, and one else.
Finally, the Opposition Leader Hon. Belden Namah challenged Peter O’Neill to have the court hearing at either the Buang District or Village Court, as the place where the remarks were made.
