Australian couple declare themselves Jesus and Mary

A couple told the world on a British television program that they are Jesus and Mary.

An Australian man said he is Jesus Christ during an interview with “This Morning”, on Monday.

AJ Miller and his girlfriend Mary Luck claim to be Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene, adding that they have memories of the crucifixion.

They said that they were both reborn.

"My name is Jesus, of course, but people do not feel comfortable calling me that," Miller said during the television program.

The couple, who have made headlines earlier due to their claims, told hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford about how they are being ridiculed.

Miller said: "I have experienced that treatment most of my life. During my life in the first century I was treated the same way. I’m pretty used to it. What I'm saying is that people generally respond to my claims with laughter."

Miller, a former information technology specialist, said he can recall 2,000 years of life from the age of two, but spent many years thinking they were only dreams.

The 50-year-old said: "I had all the memories of my life, my whole life, 2,000 years, but was unable to comprehend until I was 40-years-old. I spent a lot of time thinking they were only dreams, but I've been telling people since I realized 10 years ago that they are not dreams. I guess that now there is just more media interest than before."

Speaking of Miller's previous life, Luck, said: "I remember him to be very similar as to who he is now, a very humble man, who gave to others without asking anything in return. We got married in the first century."
