PNG Kumuls fullback, David Mead named in NSW Country side
PNG Kumuls International and fullback, David Mead has been named in NSW Country side to take on City. This qualifies Mead for playing for New South Wales State of Origin if selected. Mead replaces Josh Dugan who withdrew from the game due to injuries.
Mead joins fellow Titans back Kevin Gordon, who himself was a late injury call-up in place of Cronulla namesake Michael Gordon.
while Dugan is widely tipped to get first crack at the NSW fullback spot with Parramatta's Jarryd Hayne likely to be moved into the three-quarter line.
