DON POLYE IN FOR QUESTIONING

Don Polye

Former Treasurer, Don Polye has been taken in for questioning by Police Fraud Squad in Port Moresby, this afternoon.

Police picked up Polye at the Jackson's International Airport on arrival from abroad.

NBC news reports, Polye looked relaxed and willing to be interviewed, when police approached him at the airport.

In previous media reports, Polye said, he would disclose the whole truth about the Paraka case and other matters police need to know, soon.

As then Treasurer, Polye, was implicated in colluding with Paul Paraka Lawyers, in siphoning State money in paying out bogus legal bills.
