Gazelle MP Malakai Tabar is new transport Minister

Gazelle MP Malakai Tabar has been appointed Transport Minister by NEC this afternoo. Prime Minister attended the swearing-in ceremony  at Government House, by the Governor-General, Sir Michael Ogio. The new Transport Minister is a member of the National Alliance Party and replaces PNC Party member, Ano Pala - the new Minister for Justice & Attorney-General. Prime Minister Hon. Peter O'Neill was also present to witness the occasion and later in a media conference congratulated Mr Tabar on his appointment as the Minister for Transport. He welcomed him to the government ranks and thanked the National Alliance Party for its ongoing support to the Government
