JEREMIAH HEATS UP PORT MORESBY'S COSMOPOLITAN
It seemed just about everyone at the Club Cosmopolitan on Friday, had a “birthday” when RnB hip hop star Jeremih took to the stage.
Fans paid K50 for pre-sold tickets and K75 at the gate on the night to watch him perform the hit single “Birthday Sex”.
Taking to the stage at 12:00 midnight by then the club crowd was already in the party mood thanks to some great opening act performances.
The show kicked off with the Majestic crew around 11:00pm who had the crowd on their feet, this followed by Barefeet then B-Radd topped off by the musical sounds of Animal Audio.
Fan favourites include “Tell Em”, “I’m a Star” and of course the hit single “Birthday Sex”.
One party-goer Anita Kildi says “It’s different hearing it on the radio but to watch Jeremih singing it live just takes this to a whole other level”. Undoubtedly a sentiment shared by the many others who were present also.
The night went well with no major mishaps or drunken disturbances – just a great night out to start off the long weekend.
Meanwhile, Port Moresby is now gearing up to welcome Caribbean star Kevin Lyttle and RnB sensation Maya along with Solomon Islands group DMP, thanks to the Club Cosmopolitan.
