India's Prime Minister to visit Fiji
The Fijian government will next month host the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, His Excellency Narendra Modi on an official visit.
Upon arrival, Prime Minister Modi is expected to pay a courtesy call to His Excellency the President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau after which he will meet with his Fijian counterpart Voreqe Bainimarama and other Cabinet Ministers. The meetings will provide an opportunity for both Prime Ministers to discuss bilateral issues as well as regional developments.
Amongst other visits and events, Prime Minister Modi will officiate at the unveiling of a plaque for the parliamentary library, which was donated by the Government of India, and tour the Fijian parliament.
The Indian Head of Government will be in the country on the 19th of November and will also meet with other Pacific Island leaders.
