IPATAS CONTINUE TO SUBSIDIES ENGA AIRFARE

The Enga Governor continues to assist the National Flag carrier, Air Niugini, provide affordable air services to his people, through subsidized airfares.

Governor Peter Ipatas, on Friday, presented 250-thousand-Kina of the third quarter subsidy for this year, to Air Niugini.

The airfare subsidy is to cater for the Mt. Hagen to Wapanamanda sector of the flight.

The payment brings to 750-thousand-Kina the total amount paid, with the balance to be paid sometimes next month.

General Manger Commercial, Mr Dominic Kaumu received the cheque on behalf of the C-E-O.
