PNG Ombudsman Commision launches new website

Papua New Guinea’s Ombudsman Commission has launched a  new website.

Complaints relating to corruption practices in Papua New Guinea can now be filed with the government watchdog – Ombudsman Commission through their website.

Information submitted will be used as leads for investigations and will be strictly kept confidential.

Chief Ombudsman, Rigo Lua told media that the website will be useful to the commission, as it will assist to generate information as part of its function to investigate administrative and leadership complaints.

Ombudsman, Phoebe Sangetari said the website also provides information about the commission’s roles and functions, and some of the most frequently asked questions about the organisation.

It’s an important tool for disseminating information and research.

The Legislative Review Discussion Paper to help improve the commission’s efficiency and effectiveness is also available on the website.

You can access the website through the internet and mobile phones, by simply logging onto www.ombusdman.gov.pg
