Juffa to seek Prime Minister O'Neill's plans on West Papua
While Indonesian state officials will of course wish to clarify what PNG Prime Minister Hon. Peter O'Neill's speech where (he (Mr O'Neill)said it was time to speak about the oppression of “our brothers and sisters in West Papua,’ which he made on Thursday at the PNG Leaders summit) mean for diplomatic relations between PNG & Indonesia, Oro Province Governor Hon. Gary Juffa will also seek what the Prime Ministers plans are to assist with West Papua's independence. Governor Juffa said "I shall speak to the PM to find out exactly what the Governments strategy is to ensure that the fundamental objective of FREEDOM is not watered down in diplomatic posturing that only canvases the surface issues and ignores the loss of lives and suffering and plea for independence. I shall propose that PNG demand UN intervention and a review of the so called Act of Free Choice scam."
Anyone that still believes PNG should concentrate on its internal affairs as our country has allot of its own problems maybe correct-we do have so much in-house issues which needs our focus however who would we really be if we didn't empathize with a brother/sister who didn't have the freedom that we had? Its like locking a disabled brother in a house for good with no access to food & water-what would that say about us as a person or country?"
The West Papua freedom movement is as much our cause as it is West Papua's.
