2015 Pacific Games Tickets Officially on sale
The Games Organising Committee (GOC) officially launched the sale of the 15th Pacific Games tickets at BSP Harbour City Branch in Port Moresby today.
Tickets will be sold exclusively over the next two weeks at selected BSP Branches and thereafter at BSP and other merchants.
650,000 tickets are now available for the public to purchase with the lowest ticket price of K10 per day.
Apart from individual tickets, there will also be packages available in the category of Venue and Sports. The Venue Package will enable a spectator to watch different sports at a venue for an upfront discounted price. Similarly, the Sports Packages will allow a spectator to watch a sport when conducted on its own eg. Swimming, Weightlifting etc.
The tickets are affordable and enable all Papua New Guineas from all walks of life the opportunity to have access to venues to witness the biggest sporting event in Papua New Guinea's history.
GOC Chief Executive Officer Peter Stewart said, "We have ensured that the tickets are priced for everyone to purchase without having to dig deep into their pockets so they can have the opportunity to see some of the best athletes in the world perform on our soil.
BSP Chief Executive Officer, Robin Fleming said the bank was proud to be Official Sponsor of the Pacific Games, which are an exciting and uniquely Melanesian/Polynesian Sporting and Cultural event.
Mr Fleming said BSP has committed its brand and outreach throughout PNG and the Pacific to promote the Games in a positive and inclusive way. "We are now committing our people and 17 of our branches to ensure Papua New Guineans have the opportunity to witness the Games," he said.
The following branches around PNG will be Points of Sale for Tickets: Lae (Top Town & Market), Wewak, Madang, Mt. Hagen, Goroka, Kokopo, Kimbe, Buka and Alotau.
In Port Moresby, the general public can purchase at Downtown, Harbour City, Boroko, Waigani Drive, Waigani Banking Centre, Vision City Kiosk and Waterfront Kiosk. The Kiosks are strictly Card Based transactions.
Additional outlets will open in April, along with bulk ticket sales.

National Capital District Governor Powes Parkop purchased the first two tickets to the Official Ceremony.
These tickets were presented to Bernadette Ove who is the Principal of Jubilee Secondary School and Esther Sapulai, 40 Years Long Service Employee of Air Niugini.
