PNG Works Minister Francis Awesa to face leadership tribunal
Public Prosecutor, Pondros Kaulwin, after looking through Ombudsman Commission files, made his decision.
A letter from the Public Prosecutor's Office indicated the request was made on the thirteenth, that is last Friday.
Mr Awesa was referred to the public prosecutor by the Ombudsmen Commission for blocking off a public easement or area, for personal use denying public access, causing disharmony and difficulty.
The second allegation relates to Mr Awesa failing to declare a property at Section 64, Allotment 22, Tuaguba Hill in downtown Port Moresby.
The Chief Justice will now go ahead and appoint a leadership tribunal who will inquire into the allegations
