Not everyone online is your friend.
Not everyone online is your friend, and if information accessed online sounds to good to be true, than its a scam.
This was highlight today, by the U.S Embassy's Assistant Regional Security Officer, Robert Schaefer.
Mr Schaefer said the whole purpose of people putting up fake information on the Internet is to steal money from those who are unaware of Internet scams.
The US Embassy this morning conducted an awareness program based on Internet scams and Identity theft.
Economic Officer also with the U.S Embassy Susan May said the seminar arose due to the Red Cross Scam.
She said people out there are pretending to be from the American Red Cross, sending emails with job offers saying you'll be doing flood relief work in the U.S
But she said this is not true and they are only after your money.
