Beautiful Waterfall at Baiyer Lumusa attractive scenery for sightseeing
By Owapelg Mandikel-Kouh
A beautiful waterfall in the Yuku Village of Baiyer Lumusa area, Western Highlands Province remains a spectacular sightseeing and picnic area to get away from city noises. This spectacular waterfall joins with Yuam River going downstream to join up with Lanen River in the Lower Lai area of Enga Province, then continues to meet with the big Sepik River in the Sepik Province.
Local and International Tourists and visitors alike will find themselves fun here at the beautiful waterfall before proceeding to Yuku Rock Shelter, or the famous Baiyer Zoo. Local tourism promoter Philip Willie Ukuni said the scenery is ideal for tourism and the Government should assist to build such facilities for tourism attractions. “These are sustainable and long term investments the Government should look at rather than concentration in the major towns and cities,” he added.
There are many such schematic waterfalls and beautiful sceneries in the Baiyer Lumusa area of Western Highlands Province. For more travel information to this site, Baiyer Zoo or Yuku Rock Shelter, email Niugini Exotic Tours at: howarig4@gmail.com
