Live Updates: Pacific Games open in Style

• His Royal Highness Prince Andrew has just opened the Pacific Games. He thanked Papua New Guinea for displaying magnificent cultures during the opening ceremony.

• PNG Prime Minister welcomed participating teams from the Pacific including Australia and New Zealand. He said Papua New Guinea has  put in place world standard infrastructure for the games and told the participates to enjoy the games and take memories back to theirr home countries after the games. 
• Pacific Games Council President thanked Papua New Guinea to putting up world standard facilities for the games and welcomed New Zealand and Australia.
