PM's XIII: Australia 40 beat PNG 12

As expected, the Australian Prime Ministers XIII side maintained their unbeaten run by holding off determined PNG side to 40 - 12  in front of  large  crowd at the Sir John Guise stadium tonight.  In the first half, it was an arm wrestle as the Australians took the lead 14 - 6 with 8 points difference.

In the second half, the crowd cheered on with Mexican wave to give moral support to  the home team but the Australian NRL star studded side  were too strong and outscored the PNG side  with five tries to one.
