Samantha Vuluma is Miss BSP
Papua New Guinea's largest bank, introduced Samantha Vulum as Miss BSP in the 2015 Miss Pacific Islands Pageant (MPIP) PNG. BSP Group General Manager, Retail Banking, Paul Thornton, when formally announcing Miss BSP said, the organisation was proud to be associated with a pageant that develops and showcases young women's intellectual strengths and cultural values."
"At BSP, we believe that people are at the heart of everything we do. We believe in building an inclusive workplace environment where flexibility, diversity and values-based behaviour is recognised and rewarded," Mr Thornton said.
Samantha is a young and ambitious woman who believes that every Papua New Guinean Women, young or old deserves and the opportunity to acquire an education passionate.
At BSP, we believe in building our staff and providing equal opportunity for career advancement in the industry, especially for our female staff. This is something we are proud off, and we are pleased to support a worthy cause by sponsoring our Samantha as an entrant.
Ms Vulum said that "I am able to support the cause that the MPIP PNG represents in raising funds for a scholarships which assists girls to complete or continue their education in tertiary institutions throughout the country every year.".
"It's an exciting time to be part of a bank that is really making a difference not only in business but in communities nationwide and I know together we can make a meaningful and lasting difference in PNG," she said.
