Speaker refutes Morobe Bloc claim

ACTING Governor General and Speaker of the National Parliament Theo Zurenuoc said he is a member of the Government and a member of the People’s National Congress.
He was responding to a report that was claimed to be misreported.
Mr Zurenuoc, who is the acting Governor General in the absence of Sir Michael Ogio, wanted to organise a news conference last Friday but cancelled it as he could not organise media conferences and speak as a politician while he is acting Governor-General.
He said the only Morobe Bloc is in Government and there is no other Morobe bloc after Governor Naru failed to organise a Morobe Bloc for the past three years.
"I am furious at Governor Naru and wanted to call a press conference but cannot as I am acting Governor General (protocol wise). Morobe bloc only exists in Naru’s dream…" We already have a Morobe block that exists in Government...
